Estates Dive
Taveuni Estates Dive, our onsite dive center, is
no more than a 15 minute boat ride away from some
of Taveuni’s world-famous dive sites, including
the ‘Great White Wall’
(an almost luminescent wall of soft coral) and the
extensive and colourful ‘Rainbow
Reef’.

Snorkelling and Island Hopping
Snorkelling in the surrounding waters is simply
stunning and marine life includes plenty of tropical
fish and live coral. Taveuni Dive can also arrange
snorkelling trips and island hopping excursions
with picnics.

Fishing
The waters surrounding Taveuni are renowned for
their deep-sea fishing opportunities and enthusiasts
will be pleased to know they are teeming with Sailfish,
Marlin, Yellow-Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Skipjack, Barracuda,
Spanish Mackerel and Trevally.
There are a number of companies on the island that
specialise in deep-sea fishing excursions and Taveuni
Estates will gladly recommend a suitable charter
for your needs.
Sailing
Moorings are available for people with their own
boats and there are also boats for hire for intrepid
explorers. Many catamaran charters leave Taveuni
Island for daytrips and longer excursions. Sailing
on these majestic waters is an unforgettable way
to experience the pure beauty of the Fiji archepelago.
Windsurfing
If you’re a thrill seeker who relishes the
thought of skimming over tropical turquoise waters,
there are numerous places for windsurfing
dotted around the island. Windsurfers are available
for hire at a number of reputable rental companies.
Kayaking
Kayaking tours are run out of Lavena Village for
those wanting to explore this part of the island's
spectacular coastline. Enjoy a leisurely paddle
through the crystal waters and discover interesting
natural formations such as Mushroom rock.
